My contribution to Bonhams|Cars

I worked at Bonhams|Cars as a Marketing Coordinator between May 2023 and March 2024, though I have been documenting the buzzing auctions with my lens since June 2022.

I have worked at: The Gstaad Sale (Switzerland), The Goodwood Revival Sale in 2022 (UK), The Zoute Sale (Belgium), The Milano Sale (Italy), The Paris Sale (France), The Goodwood Member’s Meeting Sale (UK), Autoworld Auction (Belgium), The Festival of Speed Sale (UK), The Beaulieu Sale (UK), the Goodwood Revival Sale in 2023 (UK), The Zoute Sale (Belgium), The Golden Age Auction (UK), the Bond Street Sale (UK).

My weekly tasks include: 

  • Consistent Social Media Content Creation and Management, particularly during busy setting-up days and fast-paced auctions, by using my compelling story telling, mastering professional photography and semi-professional video production, leveraging my entry-level graphic design skills.   • Owning the Editing, Schedule, Copywriting and Distribution process for the Digital Content to the appropriate Social Media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube). Since I joined, the reach of both Instagram and Facebook profiles increased of 400%, and content interaction doubled.
  • Monitoring the Performance through marketing analytics reports for auction campaigns, to take data-driven decisions. 
  • Managing the Social Media Community and Liaising with Influencers.
  • Working Closely with Multiple Marketing and Creative Agencies (including Search Laboratory and 303) to help create briefs and ensure externally-ran campaigns were performing effectively.
  • Maintaining a Working Relationships Key External Production Teams (photo and video) for content creation, communicating the requirements, and review the final artworks to make sure the content is in line with the company standards. 
  • Liaising with In-House Graphic Designers and to portray the business as best as possible. 
  • Regularly Managing Content on Homepage Carousel for bonhamscars.com, as well as cars page on bonhams.com.
  • Coordinating the Design, Approval and Submission of Magazine Artworks. I manage the over 150 issues per year for the Motorcycle Department, and other car-related prints. The Print Media Campaigns include ad placements in popular Motoring Magazines in the UK, but also throughout Italy, France and Belgium. Thanks to my connections, on multiple occasions, I have got free full-page ads in specialised magazines, exclusive back cover deals and very favourable prices.
  • Setting Regular Catch-ups with the Departments and Marketing Mangers to understand the pipeline of cars and bikes for each auction, to coordinate the production of content for the advertising campaigns and developing marketing plans. Keeping a good relationship with the stakeholders is fundamental. 
  • Planned Creation and Distribution of Weekly Email Newsletters (approx 2 per week) with Salesforce.
  • I specialise in marketing within the Classic Car industry, where Strengthened Working Relationships with Key and Influential Figures of the Sector. However, I have gained Experience in Multiple Auction Departments including Jewels, Fine Art, Ceramics and Classic Motorcycles.
