My contribution to Bonhams|Cars Online

I have been employed at Bonhams|Cars Online as Marketing Coordinator, originally for Europe, then for the UK, from May 2022 to March 2024.

  • As an European Marketing Coordinator, I have consistently liaised with the European Car Specialists (and later with the UK Car Specialists) to understand the pipeline of vehicles for the online auctions, to coordinate the production of content for the advertising campaigns and developing marketing plans.

You can’t promote well what you don’t know well.

While I am dedicated to the promotion of cars consigned by the specialists, I firmly believe in fostering an exchange of information between the marketing team and specialists. This collaboration allows for a deeper understanding of the product, enabling a more effective promotion. That’s why I firmly believe that a strong communication with stakeholders is fundamental.

  • I was in charge of Management and Creation of Media Content at the Unit in Abingdon where the cars are stored, using my compelling story telling, mastering professional photography and semi-professional video production, leveraging my entry-level graphic design skills.

  • I have Edited, Scheduled, Used my Copywriting Knowledge and Distributed all Digital Content to the appropriate Social Media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Youtube).
  • I also Managed the Social Media Community and Liaising with Influencers.
  • I have worked closely with Marketing and Creative Agencies (including Search Laboratory and 303) to help create briefs and ensure externally-ran campaigns were performing effectively.
  • I have regularly liaised with Graphic Designers and to portray the business as best as possible.
  • I was in charge of the Coordination, the Design and Submission of Magazine Artworks. The Print Media Campaigns include ad placements in popular Motoring Magazines in the UK, but also throughout Italy, France and Belgium. I completely owned the creative and distributing process of artworks for European magazines. Moreover, thanks to my connections, on multiple occasions, I have got free full-page ads in specialised magazines, exclusive back cover deals and very favourable prices.   • I have also maintained Working Relationships with Key External Production Teams (photo and video) for content creation, communicating the requirements, and review the final artworks to make sure the content is in line with the company standards.
  • I have planned the Creation and Distribution of Weekly Email Newsletters (Approx 3 per week) with MailChimp and SalesForce
  • I consistently created effective Paid Ads through Meta Ads (I introduced the lowest PPC rate at £0.01) and Google Ads.
  • I have actively contributed to the Planning of Events in the UK and in Europe including Goodwood Revival, Auto&Moto d’Epoca in Padua and Interclassics in Bruxelles, also supporting on event collateral and merchandise.
  • I contributed to the Translation in Italian of the website (The Market by Bonhams). Other than speaking Italian, English and Venetian, I studied French and Spanish.
  • I specialise in marketing within the Classic Car industry, where Strengthened Working Relationships with Key and Influential Figures of the Sector. I love, indeed, attending motoring events where I can personally connect with my contacts and cultivate important relationships
